Get Gold Seal Apps on Your iPad.

Gold Seal has conventional apps for student pilots in the iTunes App Store. Grab your iPad and search the App Store for "Gold Seal".

We also publish a new class of aviation apps that can run from the internet on your desktop/laptop computer, and can ALSO be downloaded onto your iPad for offline use. These operate on your iPad using the Articulate Mobile Player, a free App Store download.

Using the Articulate Mobile Player - Instructions

(1) D ownload the Articulate Mobile Player from the Appstore. It's free. Once installed you will see the silver icon on your iPad desktop.

(2) Surf to the Gold Seal page containing the app using iPad Safari.

(3) The Mobile Player will recognize the content and take over control from iPad Safari. (Large apps may take a bit longer to load the first time you access them.)

(4) Use the app. When you are finished, click the "Library" link in the
top left of the Player.
(If you don't see this you may have the app maximized. Pinch two fingers together to shrink the app's screen.)

(5) Click the link on the top right that says "Yes" for "Available Offline".

(6) Now your app is permanently installed on your iPad. You may run it at any time by opening the Mobile Player (via the silver icon) and clicking on the app's title in the Player's Library.

Remember: When you click the iPad's Home button, the active app disappears from the screen, but it is still open in the background. Double-click the Home button to access it again, right where you left off. You'll see the Mobile Player icon at the bottom of the screen.
